Our party redux

Some snaps from our Memorial Day party 2022. Old friends and new, which was lovely to see, our children now teens and young adults. One friend described her conversations as “real and heartfelt,” which is how a conversation with anyone in this group always feels to me. I call our Guatadopt community my lifeline.

For the party, everyone pitches in with food and help, and this year we had the added bonus of my sister Deanna and her three daughters. My husband and I are grateful to everyone who brought food and carried trays, who bussed tables and cleaned up, who chatted and laughed and ate and participated. Who shared their photos because I never remember to take any. Who allowed their photo to be taken.

Same time next year, if the universe is willing. 🇬🇹

Post-party hike with my little sister and doggies.
